Dear NB Families:

We are excited to welcome our students back on Wednesday and are looking forward to an outstanding school year together. I need to let you know, however, about a concern in our parking lot that will provide some disruption to our regular traffic flow.

Due to an excavation pit created after complications from an aging seepage drain, we need  to temporarily close 12 parking spots in the front lot. We have ordered a replacement drain, but it will not be available until early next week, which means that installation and paving will likely not be finished until late Wednesday, weather permitting.

We will still use our original plans for line-up and drop-off on Wednesday, but will need to adapt to a tighter lot. Our security team will work with our friends in the police department to ensure that traffic in and around the school will be managed as efficiently and safely as possible, and ask for our school community to be patient as we navigate our first obstacle of the school year.

I will reach out with any further updates, if needed, and look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday.
